Dear Fourth Grade Parents and Students:

March is Women's Month. Our book report will be to choose a famous woman, type her biography, and type why she is famous. Pictures, charts, and graphs would make a more interesting report. A bibliography should also be included.

ELA packets are going home every weekend. The students should take their time and write full and complete sentences. It is important to practice their writing skills at all times. Remind them to underline information in the readings.This is important.

Science Fair projects are due March 22nd. Remember the project has to be an experiment so it can be demostrated to the judges. The class always comes in with excellent projects. The science boards are being sold in Mr. Rusk's class if you need to get one.They will also receive a grade for their project. If you need any ideas for your experiment, please see me for books. Mr.Bock, Mr. Rusk, and Ms. Cookie also have materials you can look through for ideas.

The Saint Patrick's Day dinner is on March 13th. I hope many of you can come for this fun night of delicious food and entertainment. This is a fund raiser for the school and all monies go to the Home School Association. Hope to see you there.

As you can see March is a busy month. Hope March will end as calm as it began.
